The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is
the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri
Synod. for almost 75 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each
woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to
live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to
support global missions.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to
assist each woman of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in affirming
her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use
her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

Ladies Aid Meeting Notes
July 1, 2024 - St. John
Ladies Aid met on June 26, 2024. The meeting was called to order by
President Deb Walker. We sang Hymn # 611 “Chief of Sinners Though I
Be”. Pastor Toensing led us in Bible study entitled, “How God Uses
Your Family Problems to Bless You”.
- Roll call was taken with 11 members present.
- The minutes of the May meeting were read and approved with
one correction.
- The Treasurers report was read.
- Deb Walker passed around thank-you notes received from the
family of Alvin Aksamit and the family of Lynette June. Deb
reported there were 185 served for Lynette’s funeral. A
suggestion was made that we may want to consider purchasing a
larger refrigerator to accommodate food brought in for funerals
and other occasions.
- Discussion was held concerning the anniversary luncheon to
be held following the service on June 30th with guest speakers,
Pastor John Heckmann and Pastor Michael Heckmann.
- Diane Kahle and Janice Reetz volunteered to serve ice cream
for VBS social on Thursday July 25th.
- Vacation Bible School is looking for volunteers to serve at
the celebration of our children brunch to be held on July 28th.
- Ladies Aid members celebrating wedding anniversaries in June
were, Linda and Wayne Eggert and Shirley and Elmer Reetz. The
hostess for our July meeting is Janice Reetz.
We closed our meeting with Lord’s Prayer and the common Table
Prayer. -Secretary,Bonnie Bleich
